End of February was the annual specialist plastics clinic up at The Plaster House, and they had a lot of children at the centre pre and post treatment.
As they had so many children this time round, Sarah, the founder of The Plaster House, got in touch with us at Nomad to see if we had any mattresses lying around as it’s nearing low season for some of our Nomad camps.
Unfortunately we didn’t have any spare in our office, but we happened to have a donor who was able to help out. We were able to buy The Plaster House the 40 new mattresses they needed to make sure no one is sleeping on the ground. We are happy to be able to help beyond our outreach program.
