When hearing the news that Greystoke Mahale has been voted Africa’s Leading Safari Lodge 2018, our first thought was how much the entire team deserves it. We were over the moon! Now it was time to celebrate… and hey, we rocked that beach!
At Greystoke, we are a group of 25 people working together and giving our best every day to ensure that our guests have the best experience.
There is a great team spirit and we are all passionate about what we do. Most of our team come from the close by village Katumbi, they have grown up at the lake so for them it is a real home game. Living and working in such a remote place we become a family, we look after each other and if somebody needs a helping hand there are more than enough to support. It is due to the hard work of every single one that Greystoke is such a special, welcoming and heart-warming place. Our guests often say that they were blown away by the friendliness of the team and to see that everyone is happy and really loves what they do made such a difference to their stay. For us, this is the best feedback we can get and we love sharing our passion for this place!
