During this time of the year most of our camps are closed, and we use these two months for maintenance work across our camps, ready for the new season in June.
Although the vast majority of our camp teams are now home with their families, and we're surpporting them to work from home where needed, we do have skeleton crews who remained in our camps to keep an eye on things during the quiet season, and to get the important maintenance jobs done.
This week the crew in the Serengeti have done a fantastic job on replacing the decking at Mkombe's House and it is looking very smart indeed. For us all at Nomad, it is a real pick me up to see things continue in preparation for when our guests can once again come on safari with us.
When that time comes, we'll be ready and we really can't wait.
