Entamanu Ngorongoro was a dream come true, offering front-row seats to the sunrise over the Ngorongoro Crater from the coziest cabins imaginable. Being the closest camp to the crater’s gate meant we had an early start, enjoying the park’s wonders in solitude before anyone else arrived. The entire team, led by Mohamed, went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect—from hearty homemade meals to a fresh drink always waiting for us after a long day of exploring. Our guide Sammy’s expertise made every wildlife encounter feel like a special discovery, and his keen instincts gave us private moments amidst some of nature’s most majestic creatures. Our time at Entamanu became even more unforgettable when my partner proposed! The camp staff helped orchestrate a magical picnic in a field of flowers, followed by a breathtaking sunset and Maasai dancers celebrating with us—it felt like a dream. Entamanu is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience of a lifetime, filled with heart, culture, and adventure at every turn.

Our stay at the Serengeti Safari Camp was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the heart of the Serengeti, this mobile camp provides an immersive experience where the sounds of wildlife surround you at night—a true connection with nature. The tents were beautifully designed, offering a glamping experience with cozy touches, hot showers, and the option for freshly done laundry, making every day feel luxurious despite being off the grid. The food was consistently delicious, with gourmet packed lunches perfect for our daily adventures. The staff, led by Saidi, were incredibly attentive, even surprising me with a birthday cake and heartfelt song, making me feel so celebrated. Our guide Sammy was phenomenal—his deep knowledge, sharp spotting skills, and understanding of animal behavior often gave us private moments among herds, free from crowds. The picnic lunches in the middle of wildlife were surreal and unforgettable. This camp strikes the perfect balance between raw adventure and exceptional comfort, and every moment was filled with magic thanks to the incredible team.

We loved our stay in Sand Rivers - we are extremely well travelled and know game lodges (we are from South Africa), and this is the best we have stayed in … views, food, service, variety of activities - apart from game drives, river boat outings, walking safari and night drives (where we saw leopard, hyenas and civet!). We were there out of season but saw a lot of wildlife … as good as Ruaha. Most of all we were blown away by the caring and flexible service from Sarah and her team, and our amazing guide Ernest.

Beyond My Expectation

It was beyond my expectation,both in comfort , food and service. The settingis extraordinary. Especially the experience of spending time around the lodge if one can arrange.
