We had planned to go to Mahale for 20 years, yet first it somehow didn’t happen, and then our children were too young. We waited until our youngest had turned 12, the minimum age. The location on the lake was a lot more beautiful than we ever expected it to be - the remote location, water and views on the Congolese coast are simply magical. And the time with the chimps was outstanding - we will certainly come back to do a longer filming project! A heartfelt thank you to the incredible Mahale team for everything!

My trip to Entamanu Ngorongoro was nothing short of extraordinary. Perched on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, the camp offers breathtaking views that are simply unforgettable. Jonathan and his team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, with warm smiles, personalized service, and incredible attention to detail.

The meals were outstanding—delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The accommodations were both luxurious and eco-friendly, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings while offering all the comforts.

What truly stood out was the immersive experience. From the guided walks with knowledgeable rangers to the serene sunsets by the fire, every moment was carefully curated to highlight the beauty and culture of the region. Entamanu Ngorongoro isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to connect with nature and create lifelong memories.

Incredible Experience at Entamanu

Entamanu camp is truly an incredible experience - a beautiful setting on the crater rim, amazingly comfortable and luxurious facilities for being in the wilderness, and the staff are so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed!
