Our stay here at Lamai was amazing. It was our last stop on our week long journey and this place was something magical. The staff here truly makes you feel welcomed. The evenings were spent learning traditional card games. The days were filled with game drives and food that was comforting familiar with a twist of local cuisine. And don’t get me started on the room. The panoramic view from our room was incredible and waking up to that view was wonderful.

"Magical Lamai Experience"

Amazing northern Serengeti experience which is so much more than the crossing. Lamai is magical and the guides and staff are outstanding which makes the overall experience amazing. Would suggest visiting the eastern part of the park where the scenery and animals are spectacular.

Wonderful Serengeti Stay

Rogathi was our guide and who was quite knowledgeable and did a great job of scouting out the wildlife. We saw two crossings of the wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, cheetah, lions, warthogs, and the elusive leopard. Our tent was comfortable as was the communal area. The food was really good. Rogathi was our guide and who was quite knowledgeable and did a great job of scouting out the wildlife. We saw two crossings of the wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, cheetah, lions, warthogs, and the elusive leopard. Our tent was comfortable as was the communal area. The food was really good. Our only wish would be to have a solution for charging our devices in our tents. Other than that, the camp manager and staff, ensured a wonderful stay for our time in the Serengeti. We especially appreciated Robert and Joseph’s service. The team celebrated my husband’s birthday with a wonderful cake and joyous birthday song. Thank you to the entire team for making our time there quite memorable.

Outstanding Lodge with View

Outstanding Lodge with a view! The service is extraordinary and the staff is so friendly. The guiding was exceptional. The food was delicious with great recipes. I would come back in a heartbeat! We loved it.

Top Notch Place

This place was exceptional, from James who runs a top notch place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The guide was excellent, he knew where to drive and park so I could get the best pictures. The view from my room was beautiful and the baboons that visited everyday was icing on the cake.
