Fly from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha National Park

This is a beautiful flight, departing from Dar es Salaam early in the morning and head down into Msembe airstrip in Ruaha National Park. You will be met at the airstrip by our walking guide and camp crew before heading off-grid into camp.

Days 1 - 4

Walk on the wild side

If you're looking for a traditional walking safari in one of Africa's biggest game spots, then this is the perfect way to do it. We have custom-built mobile camp that to traverse the varied habitats of Ruaha. Getting out on foot in this vast National Park will allow exploration not possible when travelling by 4x4. This is a totally different experience.

Days 1 - 4

On foot in untouched wilderness

Walking safaris are the ultimate way to immerse yourself into the wild. With the possibility of encountering big game on foot makes this exhilarating bush experience, but it is also about the smaller wonders of the world as well from fascinating insects to funky birdlife.

Head from your mobile camp into Kigelia

After breakfast in camp, say goodbye to your camp crew and jump in the safari vehicle and head back to Kigelia. Greeted with a cold drink and beaming smiles, you'll be welcome to kick back and relax into your new bush home.

Days 4 -5

Kigelia Ruaha

Kigelia is our classic bush camp deep in the wild and quietly sitting in the best wildlife spot in the park. It is here that the wildlife is most concentrated and it is not uncommon for giant elephant to be wandering through camp or wild dog scoping out the dry riverbed in front of camp. A stay at Kigelia is totally thrilling and a lovely contrast to your nights in our walking camp - albeit no less adventurous.

Days 4-5

A night under the stars

Each room at Kigelia now has the most wonderfully designed private star bed for you to sleep out under a blanket of stars. The star beds are seamlessly integrated with your tent allowing you to embrace untamed Ruaha.

Fly from Ruaha National Park back to Dar es Salaam

After saying goodbye to new friends in camp, your guide will take you back to Msembe airstrip this morning in time for your flight back to Dar es Salaam.
